Denise Gaffan – Race Coordinator
I contacted Dave Campbell 13 years ago looking for his knowledge of races to help me coordinate Southern Footprints. My background is in Hotels and Hospitality, I believe our event is Tourism related and brings participants from all over including the US. Our first year turnout was small but over the years we have increased to over 400 participants. We have had the pleasure of working with some great charities including the Lung Association, JDRF and now Crime Stoppers. I like to think this race is my little creation from designing the logos and the one of a kind medals. While reaching out to our community to unite one Sunday a year and bring families together for some fun, activity and a healthy adventure into the nature of Point Pelee National Park we also help support a great charity. Come out to support our Charity Crime Stoppers, Root for your favorite Mascot, cheer on the kids in the 1K dash. Our successes are only possible with our great volunteers, and sponsors without them nothing would be possible. To my cohorts your the best.
Jenn Johns – Race Media and Marketing Coordinator
Jennifer Johns is new on the scene but not new to the sport. As the Race Media and Marketing Coordinator, you can expect we will be seen and will be heard. Jenn was asked to be part of the team and bring her skills and help support this exciting event. When not busy marketing for this event she markets and pushes her own business, Foxx Flex. As a personal trainer, fitness instructor and Barre Fit instructor, she is also a triathlete. Jenn’s life is never boring and brings to the table experience in promotions.
