Postponed till later date – Covid 19
The committee of Southern Footprints has made the tough decision to postpone the run until it is safe to do so. Under the circumstances we felt it better to keep everyone safe and follow all the guide lines that have be provided to us.
Once this has become safe to do so we will select a new date (fall) to hold the run. Anyone wishing to have their registration refunded we will gladly do so. To our sponsors we look forward to the new race date and your continued support. We thank everyone and will see you at the race soon. Please keep safe, we are all in this together and will get through this difficult time.

Welcome to the 2020 Southern Footprints Race Series; the first race of the season. In its 13th year, it has become one of the most popular races in the area. We look forward to hosting this exciting adventure for all of you.
Southern Footprints takes runners on a flat and fast course through the natural settings of Point Pelee National Park. The sites and sounds of nature surround you while you run on their well maintained and groomed trails.
We would like to welcome our returning recipient this year, Crime Stoppers. This organization works tirelessly to keep our community safe and protected. We felt it fitting we continue our partnership for the 2020 season.
Southern Footprints has worked with several charitable organizations over the years and has helped to raise thousands of dollars for their programs. We look forward to this opportunity to work with Crime Stoppers.
Back by popular demand is our Mascot Race. Come out and root them on and see who wins. Also not to be missed is our ever-popular 1 km Kids’ Dash. This is the starting point for our future runners. The kids are excited, the parents are excited and even the race team coordinators are excited.
Also NEW this year will be the newly designed medal for all the participants, register now and secure your newly created medal designed especially for this race.
Post-race food will be provided at the finish line by the local Rotary Club.
